Why Join Troop 62?....
Because Troop 62 is fun and has a long, strong history.

Troop 62, Camp Freeland Lesley 2006 Attendees

Boy Scouts of America Troop 62 (T62), Villa Park, Illinois, USA, has been changing boys' lives for over 75 years.

Since Troop 62 began in 1928, 48 of our Scouts have hiked the trail to become Eagle Scouts. We also currently have two Scouts in the Order of the Arrow, the Boy Scouts National Honor Camping Society.

We are a boy led troop. What this means is that the boys decide what we do and how it is going to be done while the adult leaders provide guidance and support along the way.

Our troop meets regularly, every Monday in Villa Park. There are currently 15 active Scouts in the troop.

We camp at least once a month during the school year and participate in other events as they become known.

For more information about joining the Boy Scouts of T62, contact our Troop leaders.
